Dear All,
On behalf of the Argyle Library Learning Commons, I just wanted to take a moment to touch base with you. We are living in strange times. At Argyle, throughout our community, and around the world people are having to adjust and adapt to a different way of working, communicating, and living.
Although this transition is certainly challenging, please know that teachers at Argyle and people around our community are working as quickly and carefully as we can to connect with and support you. There will be bumps in the road, new challenges that will pop up, and moments where we will just have to shake our heads over the mistakes we have made as we learn to adapt to the current situation. This is okay. It is an important part of learning.
The Secondary School Teacher Librarians have been working together to create a resource to help you. We have created pages of subject area content resources, online tools, and information about inquiry learning, we hope these pages might make things a little easier for you. If you are looking for support with your coursework in the areas of research, citation, or using tech tools please contact me and I will do my best to help and/ or connect you with someone who may be more knowledgeable than me. I am also scouring the web for access to e-books. I hope to find many texts for all of you book lovers to read and enjoy!
