The landscape and rocks in the Fraser Valley record many natural Earth processes and reveal a large part of the geologic history of this part of BC –a unique part of the Canadian Cordillera.
We live where two great rivers - the Fraser and the Nechako - join. Each river has cut a wide valleys into the rolling Nechako Plateau. Where these two rivers meet, these valleys combine to form “the bowl” within which Prince George has grown.
