Argyle Library: Anti-Racism & BLM

This page is a document that will be updated on an ongoing basis.  Its goal is to share many of the resources available online and at Argyle to support students and staff in expanding their understanding of teaching diversity, anti-racism, and especially Black History in Canada and around the world.

Please note: Students at a Secondary school vary from age 12-18.  Our resources reflect this range of understandings.  Please e-mail me if you would like a suggestion of a resource for a particular age group.

Traditional Acknowledgement

We would like to acknowledge and thank the Coast Salish people whose traditional territory North Vancouver School District resides on. We express our gratitude to the Squamish Nation and Tsleil Waututh Nation and we value the opportunity to learn, live and share educational experiences on this traditional territory.
