The Bayeux Tapestry was made about the year 1075, and tells the story of the Norman Conquest, when William the Conqueror sailed from Normandy, France, to England. He killed Harold, King of England, and made himself king. Animation, music and translation of the text from the original Latin were added to this video to make it come alive. The tapestry, which still exists today, is over 230 feet long, and is one of the treasures of the Middle Ages.
